Fiber is the plant-based nutrient that is hard to digest. It is a substance that can dissolve in the water so it functions to ease the bowel movements Fiber is divided into two categories:
- Insoluble fiber
It is a type of fiber that can dissolve easily in the water, forming a solid compound to help oils secretion, such as the excess of cholesterol and to help maintain sugar level in the body. - Insoluble fiber
Fiber that is not easily dissolved in water. When the insoluble fiber is digested, the fibers will not change shape, but instead, it increases the density of our impurities mass. Insoluble fiber can help our bowel movement.
